On December 22, 2018, I posted the pending birth of “Transformation/ Blue Blood”. This piece has been somewhat of a struggle. Pictured below, I’ve started to cut the lines that will be machine stitched into the piece;
Next comes the laying of the lines to start the visual. Below, the piece on the left is almost finished – it will inform the piece on the right;
Pictured below the right section is totally pieced. So it’s time to start thinking about where the hand quilting will go.
Each step leads to the next – and the next. More updates will follow.
