A collaborative effort between artists and quilt makers.
Catherine completed a square titled “Alone on the Shore.” It was based on a watercolor painted by D. Tod Johnstone.
The quilt was auctioned to support Mystic Aquarium’s Whale Study Center.
1987 Chaplin Elementary School House Quilt.
Children created paper collages of their homes, and each was transformed into fabric by the parents.
Catherine acted as project coordinator and executed several of the squares.
The quilt was raffled to raise money for gym equipment.

The quilt was exhibited by invitation at the 1993 American Quilter’s Society Show in Paducah, Kentucky.
It won a $100 prize.
