Thank- you to the Windham Textile & History Museum  for hosting my talk yesterday and for their support in displaying my pieces in the show “Line Dances 2”. Developing my “talk” about my art quilts and my process in creating them was an excellent exercise and one that I plan to continue.  The photo on the left, taken by Bruce Raymond shows three pieces that I included in my talk;  “Tribute to Truitt”; “The Kiss”; and “Yellow #2”.  In the background you can see some of the textile museum’s displays.  Another picture taken by Raymond is this interesting view shown below – if you look carefully you can see the hour glass that I use in my studio to keep me focused on working hours at a time without really knowing the exact time of day.

Which reminds me- I think it is time to get back to my studio – what do you think?
