Line Dances – a 20 year retrospective of my work is being shown in three different area venues until October 19, 2012. Two of the venues are next door to each other – the University of Connecticut’s Homer Babbidge Library and the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center. The third is the Windham Textile & History Museum in Willimantic, CT. In all, there are over thirty quilts in the exhibits.
Please join me on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 for my gallery talk and artist reception at the Windham Textile & History Museum from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. My talk will include some of the eight art quilts that are hung at the WTHM as well as “Pain” and “Tribute to Truitt” ; two pieces that I will bring from the UConn exhibit. Arrive early and join the “Docent Tour” of the museum that begins at 2:00 p.m.
Admission – $10.00 to support the events at the Windham Textile & History Museum http://www.millmuseum.org
