SAQA’s One Foot Square Benefit Auction is their largest fundraiser and Studio Art Quilt Associates biggest income source after membership dues. For the 2011 auction, 309 artworks were donated and they raised $53,075.

My donation shown above was hand quilted and made from all cotton materials, vintage fabrics, and includes my photo images of hay bales wrapped in white plastic. Titled “Twins with Matching Hats” it was selected to be part of the SAQA 2012 Benefit Auction Sale at The International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. This in-person auction will begin on Wednesday, October 31st during the Preview Night from 7:00-10:00 PM Central Time and conclude on Sunday, November 4th at 4:00 PM Central.“
