Catherine Smith – leaves Copenhagen returns briefly to Chaplin then on to Cazenovia

Back to Connecticut and then on to Cazenovia, New York to attend the Opening of the Art Quilt Experience Show. This juried show that runs until July 31st – displayed 64 quilts from 11 countries in two galleries – my pieces “Grey Hay” and “Straw Vote” were displayed separately – one in each gallery – info on this show – http://www.theart-quiltexperience.com/ .

Leaving the show, the color Orange again caught my eye – outside of the Art Gallery at Reisman Hall on the Cazenovia Collge Campus was this wonderful Orange sculpture. So my journey continues looking for ORANGE to inform my art.
