Join Chaplin resident Catherine Smith as she shares her on-going research of 

“The Quilt Lady” one of Connecticut’s most prolific quilters, Ruth Snow Bowen.

On view will be Ruth’s last quilt #269 – “Grandmother’s Flower Garden”.

Ruth Snow Bowen (1/4/1895 – 10/10/1983)

In addition find out what Ruth’s family did on a daily basis as recorded or “tweeted” by her mother, Laura M. Snow in a series of diaries.
