“The Windham Textile & History Museum’s terrific month-long quilt show, “Locally Inspired,” closes this Saturday, July 1st, 2017. To say “thank you” to guest curators Catherine Whall Smith and Joan Blade Johnson, and to the fiber artists who loaned us their beautiful art quilts for the show, we are have a “CLOSING CELEBRATION” at the Museum that afternoon, from 1:00 to 3:00. We will have refreshments, and many of the artists will be present to discuss their work. If you have not yet seen the show, this will be your last chance. The closing will be free and open to the public.”
