So, I did attend the Opening of the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly (ACGOW) Regional Art Exhibit to view all of the art work in that show and to catch up with some friends that are members of the gallery. And, to my delight my piece “The Kiss” received the “Alice Clark Hubbard Award for Fine Arts”. The show was juried by Ann S. Woolsey, Deputy Director, Museum of Art at Rhode Island School of Design. There were 9 awards in all – here is a picture of some of the happy award recipients.
