Responses to “Circular Shapes” seem to be encouraging more exploration – GREAT! So the process needs to begin. For me that means a considerable amount of internal time. Back & forth, back & forth, until finally the time, the space, the thoughts, and the fabric become one. I’m usually always engaged in this process – but time for reflection on past work also needs to be a part of this process. – – I was fortunate to be invited to be interviewed on a local tv station called; “Artists & Authors” – yesterday I viewed the 30 minute interview – and was pleased that I did have a clear vision of my work and my process. So now back to those circular hay bale ideas to work through and process to completion. The process IS the best part – what do you think? (For info on that interview with S. Summers go to; https://catherinewhallsmith.com/portfolio/juried-shows-and-publications/ )
I saw this today and totally thought of you!
“What moves (w0)men of genius, or rather what inspires their work, is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not enough.”
