Spread the News: Benefit Auction Bidding Starts Friday, Sept. 13! – Bid online from Sept 13 – Oct 6
The annual Benefit Auction is SAQA’s premier fundraising event! All proceeds help support SAQA’s exhibition programs, publications, and education outreach. This year’s auction will take place online from September 13 through October 6.
This is your chance to own beautiful and unique art quilts made by SAQA artists around the world. At just 12” square, these pieces are perfect for collecting and displaying in your home. Plus, your purchase helps increase the recognition for art quilts and the artists who make them.

- The auction opens with Diamond Day on Friday, September 13, when any piece is available for $1,000; the first bidder wins. The rest of this reverse-price auction is divided into three sections with a new section open each Monday:
- Section 1: Sept 16 – Sept 20
Section 2: Sept 23 – Sept 27
Section 3: Sept 30 – Oct 4
Bid prices start at $750 per quilt and drop each day at 2pm EDT (GMT/UTC -4) until they reach $100 on Saturday. The following Monday, the bidding pattern repeats until the auction closes on October 6. Remaining pieces will be available in the SAQA Store. - Over 440 pieces of original artwork are available for bidding, all donated by our incredible members.
- Anyone can bid–not just SAQA members!
- Each piece is 12 x 12 inches.
